Since I am going with a "witchy" Hocus Pocus theme for this year's Halloween party, I've been on the hunt for a witch's broom to go by the fireplace. I looked online as well as locally, but I thought it would be even more fun to try and make my own inexpensive witch broom with affordable items from Dollar Tree instead!
Here's what you'll need from the Dollar Tree:
(1) Zip Tie
Here's what else you'll need:
(1) Burnished Amber, Rust-Oleum Hammered Spray Paint (Optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Spray paint the broom handle brown and allow it to dry, if desired.
Step 2: Remove the leaves, strings, and scarecrows from the two brooms.
Step 3: Place the straw of both brooms around the bottom of the painted handle and zip tie to secure. .
Step 4: Add a bow ribbon to hide the zip tie.
Doesn't it look perfect as a part of our witchy fireplace makeover for our upcoming Halloween party? I love how cute it turned out!
XOXO,
