Everything from the 90s seems to be making a comeback lately, even scrunchies, which I thought Carrie Bradshaw successfully squashed forever in an episode of Sex and the City. My husband and I also enjoy watching old sitcoms like Boy Meets World in the evenings from our childhood.
So when we decided to host a Halloween costume party this year, we thought it would be fun to choose characters from one of our favorite shows from the 90s, Home Improvement! My husband would go as "Tim, the Toolman Taylor" and I would be Heidi.
What's great about DIY costumes like these is you probably already have a lot of what you need, right in your closet. We did, and it was such a stress-free and affordable idea for us as a result!
What you need for Heidi:
Long Sleeve Burgundy Tee
Shorts
What you need for Tim:
Button Down Collared Shirt
Slacks
Tie
Dress Shoes
These costumes were such a big hit at the party! I came down the stairs and asked everyone, "Does anybody know what time it is?" and was happy to hear a resounding "TOOL TIME."
XOXO,
