When I settled on Hocus Pocus as the theme for this year's Halloween party, I knew I'd need some type of witch's cauldron to be a part of the decor. However, when I started shopping for one, I was shocked at how expensive some larger pots were. I also knew I wanted to add a fun, foggy element, which would be an additional cost. So, I did what I always do in this situation and tried to develop a more affordable DIY solution from Dollar Tree!
Here is what you'll need from Dollar Tree:
Here is what else you'll need:
Black spray paint (You can skip this step if you can snag a bucket in black.)
Instructions:
Step 1: Spray paint your bucked black if needed and allow to dry.
Step 2: Turn the black bowl upside down and place it in the bottom of the bucket.
Step 3: Add water to the fill shelf/line on the plastic lighted witch cauldron with fog and place it on top of the upside-down bowl. This raises it slightly and allows the colorful lit-up fog to come out closer to the top of the bucket where you need it.
Step 4: Plug in the USB of the plastic lighted witch cauldron to the portable USB charger and place the charger inside the bucket.
Step 5: Turn on the lights and the fog, and ENJOY!
XOXO,
